Lathe Cuts are playable "vinyl" records that are made one at a time, in real time, using an experimental process on vintage mono record lathes out of polycarbonate plastic (similar to plexiglass). As such, they will be slightly lower volume and fidelity, with slightly shallower grooves than a traditional pressed record. But they still sound pretty damn good considering their odd birth.
